Capella University Online Degree Student to Present at Conference on College Teaching and Learning


MINNEAPOLIS (PRWeb) January 19, 2007 -- Keith Fowlkes, a master's degree student at Capella University (http://www.capella.edu), an accredited, fully online university, has been selected to present at the 18th International Conference on College Teaching and Learning being held in Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla., April 2-5, 2007. Fowlkes is pursuing a master's degree in leadership in higher education through Capella's School of Education. More than 1,000 teachers, principals, and superintendents have chosen Capella to achieve their master's or doctoral degrees.

Fowlkes presentation, titled "Blooming Hybrid and Asynchronous Learning," will focus on the integration of Bloom's taxonomy within an online teaching model that will meet the needs of experienced and inexperienced online learners while reducing overall costs.
